4 Who3588 comforts3870 us in all3650 our tribulation,2347 that we may be able1410 to comfort3870 them which are in any3956 trouble,2347 by the comfort3874 with which3739 we ourselves are comforted3870 of God.2316

5 Denn3754 gleichwie2531 wir2248 des Leidens3804 Christi5547 viel haben4052, also3779 werden4052 wir2257 auch2532 reichlich getröstet3874 durch1519 Christum5547.

5 For as the sufferings3804 of Christ5547 abound4052 in us, so3779 our consolation3874 also2532 abounds4052 by Christ.5547

6 Wir2249 haben aber1161 Trübsal2346 oder Trost3874, so1535 geschieht es euch5216 zugut. Ist‘s1754 Trübsal, so3739 geschieht es euch5216 zu5228 Trost3870 und2532 Heil4991; welches Heil3588 beweiset sich, so1535 ihr846 leidet3958 mit Geduld5281 dermaßen, wie wir leiden3804. Ist‘s Trost3874, so geschieht es euch auch2532 zu1722 Trost und2532 Heil4991.

6 And whether1535 we be afflicted,2346 it is for your5216 consolation3874 and salvation,4991 which3588 is effectual1754 in the enduring5281 of the same846 sufferings3804 which3588 we also2532 suffer:3958 or1535 whether1535 we be comforted,3870 it is for your5216 consolation3874 and salvation.4991

7 Und2532 stehet unsere2257 Hoffnung1680 fest949 für5228 euch5216, dieweil wir wissen, daß3754, wie5618 ihr1492 des Leidens3804 teilhaftig2844 seid, so3779 werdet ihr2075 auch2532 des Trostes3874 teilhaftig sein.

7 And our hope1680 of you is steadfast,949 knowing,1492 that as you are partakers2844 of the sufferings,3804 so3779 shall you be also2532 of the consolation.3874

8 For we would2309 not, brothers,80 have you ignorant50 of our trouble2347 which3588 came1096 to us in Asia,773 that we were pressed916 out of measure,5236 above5228 strength,1411 so5620 that we despaired1820 even2532 of life:2198

10 Who delivered4506 us from so5082 great5082 a death,2288 and does deliver:4506 in whom3739 we trust1679 that he will yet2089 deliver4506 us;

11 durch1537 Hilfe4943 eurer5216 Fürbitte1162 für5228 uns2257, auf1519 daß2443 über uns2248 für5228 die Gabe5486, die uns2257 gegeben ist2532, durch1223 viel4183 Personen4383 viel4183 Danks geschehe2168.

11 You also2532 helping4943 together4943 by prayer1162 for us, that for the gift5486 bestowed on us by the means of many4183 persons4383 thanks2168 may be given by many4183 on5228 our behalf.5228

15 Und2532 auf solch5026 Vertrauen4006 gedachte1014 ich jenes Mal4386 zu4314 euch5209 zu kommen2064, auf daß2443 ihr abermal eine Wohltat5485 empfinget2192,

17 Hab‘ ich5124 aber3767 eine Leichtfertigkeit gebrauchet, da3739 ich solches gedachte, oder2228 sind meine Anschläge fleischlich4561? Nicht3756 also, sondern2443 bei2596 mir1698 ist5600 Ja3483 Ja3483, und2532 Nein3756 ist Nein.

18 Aber1161, o ein treuer GOtt2316, daß unser2257 Wort3056 an4314 euch5209 nicht3756 Ja3483 und2532 Nein3756 gewesen1096 ist!

19 Denn1063 der3588 Sohn Gottes2316, JEsus2424 Christus5547, der unter1722 euch5213 durch1223 uns2257 geprediget ist2784, durch1223 mich1700 und2532 Silvanus4610 und2532 Timotheus5095, der war1096 nicht3756 Ja3483 und2532 Nein3756, sondern235 es war1096 Ja3483 in1722 ihm846.

20 For all3745 the promises1860 of God2316 in him are yes,3483 and in him Amen,281 to the glory1391 of God2316 by us.

21 GOtt2316 ist‘s950 aber1161, der uns2248 befestiget samt4862 euch5213 in1519 Christum5547 und2532 uns2248 gesalbet
|
21 Now1161 he which establishes950 us with you in Christ,5547 and has anointed5548 us, is God;2316

|
22 und2532 versiegelt4972 und2532 in1722 unsere2257 Herzen2588 das3588 Pfand728, den Geist4151, gegeben1325 hat.
|
22 Who3588 has also2532 sealed4972 us, and given1325 the earnest728 of the Spirit4151 in our hearts.2588

23 Ich1473 rufe aber1161 GOtt2316 an1941 zum Zeugen3144 auf1909 meine1699 See LE5590, daß3754 ich euer5216 verschonet habe5339 in1519 dem, daß ich nicht3765 wieder gen Korinth2882 kommen2064 bin.

24 Nicht3756 daß3754 wir Herren seien über2961 euren5216 Glauben4102, sondern235 wir sind2070 Gehilfen4904 eurer5216 Freude5479; denn1063 ihr stehet2476 im Glauben4102.
